Virgina State Beekeepers' Association

With a goal of education and promotion of apiculture, this association holds a sping and fall meeting as well as distribute seasonal newsletters on relevant beekeeping information for Virginia Beekeepers.

Eastern Apiculture Society of North America, Inc.

Eastern Apiculture Society (EAS) is a non-profit educational organization that promotes bee culture, education of beekeepers and excellence in bee research. They hold a annual conference for both beginning and advanced beekeepers as well as publish a newsletter, The EAS Journal.

Virginia Department of Agriculture and Consumer Services

This department regulates honey bees in the state of Virginia. This site provides links to Virginia Bee Law and apiary inspectors.

Virginia Tech Apiculture Program

Virginia Tech apiculture program involves teaching, extension and reseach in beekeeping.
